Black Maybe is a live sound performance by Justin Randolph Thompson and Andre Halyard performed at Numeroventi. The work engages in Black speculative labor and is an homage to Syreeta Wright and Black socio-spiritual possibility. The performance is cut against archival footage from King Mountain North Carolina as a gesture to Black spectatorship and White performativity.
